crazy crafters blog hop

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters December Blog Hop.  I am the host of this blog so lets get started!  I am very excited about this months blog theme... Because it was my idea (hehehehe) and because it takes some thinking to sit down and work out a favourite three (plus three is my favourite number).
For a full list of the participants of the blog hop look at the bottom of my post :)

So my three colours are Strawberry Slush, Coastal Cabana and Crumb Cake.  I love them because they are so diverse. You can use them in so many different scenarios.  I have done the card three times, let me show you:
The first one is stamping the Strawberry Slush and Coastal Cabana directly onto the Crumb Cake card stock. I love this because it give a really rich regal sort of a look, great for gritty vintage styles which I ADORE!

Next is the three colours stamped on Whisper White card stock.  These colours on here work beautifully because they are so bright and beautiful
The last card I have put in as a bonus becuse I am not sure on the using Very Vanilla as a base colour (so sorry ladies if it was not meant to be used).  I did this simply so you can see the elegence of these three colours on the vanilla card.
The stamp set Used in this was Snowflake Soiree, it's available in clear mount 127925 $41.95, wood mount 127922  $51.95 and it is also available as a digital download 129830 $4.50
I love these colours, I know people will be surprised because purple is not in here but that's the way it is lol.
I hope you have enjoyed seeing my choices be sure to keep coming back and seeing more updates.  And future Crazy Crafters Blog Hops

Thank you for joining us for the Crazy Crafters Favorites Blog Hop. We hope you enjoy our virtual hop where you will either learn great techniques for your paper crafting projects or enjoy a chance to win some blog candy!

You should have just left stop number 7 on the Crazy Crafters Hop - Alex Trofimov at Pink Crafty Mama. If so, you are in the right spot. If you get off track, the full blog lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all of the amazing creations.

My project for the hop is my fresh Merry Christmas card made with the Stampin' Up! Festive Flurry stamp set. (you may wish to include a link to your store directly to this item as well.)
So beautiful and fresh... I just love the new colours Bermuda Bay and Smoky slate, which were used to create this card.  And what can possibly be fresher than snowflakes...?

The Stampin' Directionals between each layer just make this card POP! and the gorgeous Silver Ribbon is just exquisite to 'hang' the snowflake.
The Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack makes it so easy to give that extra dimension to any card and honestly who can live without a little bling in their lives, thankfully the largest of the Rhinestone basic jewels was there to add the 'bling factor' to this card.

Well Folks I've been off my computer for months now and thought I ought to get back into the swing of things!
I've moved house since last time I posted, I now live in Gympie, I've recently bought a 40 foot container that is going to become our humble abode overlooking the gorgeous Mary River.  It has taken a lot of work and heartache to get the yard where we can put the container in place and start living (I lost my two beautiful dogs Alice and Toyo to paralysis ticks), but we're almost there finally :).
Heaps of other things have happened since my last post too!  The new ideas book and catalog is out with a colour refresh and lots of beautiful new stamps and accessories, also the new holiday catalog is out too.  Wow have I got a big list of things I "have to have" lol.  Something else that is new is i have started hosting online parties, so if you feel that you are too far away and can't get to a demonstration, or all your crafty friends live elsewhere this will be perfect for you.  It's a brilliant idea all you need is facebook and then you can even invite your international friends to participate :).
Most of my supplies are still packed away but I managed to find a few things so I could get a little crafty, so here is a card I made in black and white, I am in love with it at the moment it look so fresh!
This card was made with Whisper White card stock 206549, black StazOn ink101406 , Basic Black ink126980, Jewels Basic Rhinestone119246, Secret Garden 129144, Hello Lovely130243 and Six-Sided Sampler 130956 Stamp Sets. The paper behind is Soho Subway Designer Series Paper 130140.
Well, I'll be back soon so keep checking in and please feel free to comment or contact me anytime!
