Patty Bennet Case Crazy Crafters Blog Hop

Welcome to the Crazy Crafters Blog Hop for February.  This month we thrilled to have the always gorgeous Patty Bennet as our inspiration.  Our Theme this month is C.A.S.E. Patty, easier said than done hey... (such a talented lady, difficult to choose one project).

You may just be starting out here at my blog - Tamie Holt or you may have come from the person previous to me, gorgeous Rosealie Desmond.
Be sure to click the next button to ensure you don't miss any of the gorgeous creations posted this month.
So here is a picture from Pattys blog, this is what I decided to case.  Read on to see my effort.

As you can see Patty used a super cute box bought from Stampin' Up!©, sadly I didn't have one so instead I created one.  I used an A4 sheet of Naturals Ivory cardstock and guestimated how to make it and hey presto... (yes I am chuffed with myself for that effort!).

So I used the Naturals Ivory for the box and the strip in the centre of the card and the sentiment.  I stamped the Hardwood Stamp in Sahara Sand.  The flowers (Flower Patch and Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Sets) and butterfly (Watercolour Wings) were stamped with Watermelon Wonder.  I used Tip Top Taupe Dotted Lace Ribbon on the box.  Add a few Basic Rhinestones and Voila.

Well I hope you love what I have made and if you have any questions be sure to leave me a comment and I will get back to you.
Until next time stay well and happy crafting xx

Fab Friday 81 Challenge It's My Party

Hi everyone so nice to be back at my desk.  Todays blog is a challenge, it's for the Fab Friday challenge. I happened across Justin K's entry for this and thought it was gorgeous so thought I would have a bash at the design. Here it is...

So for this card I used Whisper White Card as the base then I went to my new papers I got as a prize, super excited about them.  I chose to use the It's my Party, because it's scrumptious!  And I cut a doily from our large Delicate Doilies. I cut the little banners to size and layered them up.

I then made "the cutest little paper bow ever" to place at the top of the card.  The sentiment was stamped on a strip of Sahara Sand Card in versamark that I heat embossed with white embossing powder it came from the Perfect Pairings stamp set which you can get FREE at the moment if you spend $90 (among many other awesome products).

So if you're an Australian resident be sure to click on the catalogs on the sides to see them all and make up your wishlist.

Well I hope you like my creation this time and until next time stay well and happy crafting :)

Crazy crafters highlight

This blog is a bit of a fun one. The leader of The Crazy Crafters,  Kylie Bertucci is doing a blog highlighting her team members blogs.
So for todays blog i have decided to use the Rose garden stamp set for the sentiment and rose wonder framelits for the flower. It really doesnt need much explaining hey.  So beautiful.
I used Rose Red for the flower and Old Olive for the leaves.
I saved all of the little cut out bits from the flower and sponged each one individually then stuck them back in. I love the effect and i hope you do too.
